Gordon's Shoreline Marine was founded in 2015 by Curtis and Taylor Gordon, continuing a proud family tradition in marine construction. The Gordon family’s journey in the industry dates back to the 1970s, when our Uncle Don Gordon established Gordon’s Marine. Specializing in underwater welding, marine construction, and environmental remediation, the business built a strong reputation over the decades. After Uncle Don retired and sold the company’s assets in 2012, Curtis proposed the idea of starting a new venture to Taylor. Together, they set out to honor our family’s legacy, which lives on today through Gordon’s Shoreline Marine."

Gordon's Shoreline Marine’s first project was the installation of a 220-ft residential steel seawall on Kettle Creek in Port Stanley, Ontario. This project presented unique challenges due to its landlocked location, with low-lying bridges preventing access for traditional equipment. No local contractors were able to find a viable solution for mobilizing their machinery to the site. However, Gordon’s Shoreline Marine developed an innovative approach, utilizing a sectional barge transported by trucks to a nearby private boat launch within Kettle Creek. The homeowners were incredibly relieved to learn that we could help, as their existing seawall, which had been in place for over 40 years, was failing. The structure was increasingly compromising the stability of the bluff, threatening to undermine their homes. Notably, the original seawalls were installed by crane at the top of the bluff before the homes were built.
